Practice Time Change for Thursday Nights

Beginning next Thursday, August 14, our practice times will be as follows:

Minis 6:00-7:15

Youth/Seniors 6:30-8:30

Parent squad workouts 7:00-7:30 (beginning September 4^th)

Practice and Gymnastics Attendance

Now that school is starting, our attendance policy needs to be followed.

Cheerleaders should not exceed 4 cheer practice absences each semester.

Cheerleaders should not exceed 2 gymnastics absences each semester – remember that gymnastics absences can be made up by scheduling a time with Andra.

Gymnastics classes are offered on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Practice Clothing

Thursdays – White t-shirt/Star shorts

Saturdays – Purple t-shirt/Teal shorts

Beginning next week – if your child does not have the appropriate t-shirt on

for practice, she/he may “rent” one from Andra for $1.

Without the correct clothing, your child will not be able to practice.

Account Meetings with Andra

Before leaving the parent meeting today, please sign up for a time during the next two weeks to meet with Andra to review your individual cheer account. If you did not attend the parent meeting today, please call Andra ASAP to set up a meeting time. All parents MUST schedule a meeting time with Andra. Please come to the meeting prepared – bring copies of checks or a list of check numbers and amounts, cash receipts, etc.

August fees, Start-up fees, and Fall Competition Fees due August 16^th

August = $90 ($75 for minis)

Fall Competition Fees = $345; Start-up Fees = $330

Smokies Baseball Performance - Saturday, August 23^rd

Meet Smokies Stadium at 5:15; Perform at 6:40; Game begins at 7:00

Clothing – Purple t-shirt; teal shorts

White ankle socks and white tennis shoes (NOT Infinity shoes)

Hair in pony tail with White Ribbon OR New BOW if arrives

Get Tickets from Denise White – This should be a great fundraiser!!

Tickets are $10 each - $4 from each ticket sold goes into your account

Warm-Ups

We are ordering the black warm-ups NOW. I am unsure of the cost – but it will be between $100-150 for the jacket and pants. Your child tried these on at the clothing fitting back in May. If you want to double check your size, please see Andra. Deadline to order is August 30^th. Payment is due when the warm-ups arrive, which should be late September.

Uniforms & Bloomers & Bags & Socks

NEW Uniforms and bloomers and socks should be in by the end of August.

Deadline for Bag orders is August 16^th – see Andra to confirm your order or to place an order. Bags will arrive by the end of September.

Practice Clothing, Shoes, Flannel Outfits

If you do not have any of the above items, or would like to order more, please see Andra ASAP.

Flip-A-Thon

We still have a few cheerleaders who need to make-up the flip-a-thon.

Remember that all cheerleaders are required to participate in this event

even if they did not raise money.

Flip-a-thon donations are due TODAY. If you need to know your total # of flips to collect donations, please see Andra. Prizes will not be given out until everyone has participated in the flip-a-thon.

SEPTEMBER CALENDARS WILL BE GIVEN OUT AT PRACTICE NEXT WEEK!

HOTEL INFORMATION FOR FALL COMPETITIONS WILL BE READY SOON!
