JAGUAR ATHLETICS DANCE

Welcome

I would like to take a moment to say thank you for your interest in the dance program of Jaguar Athletics.  Jaguar Athletics Gymnastics and Cheerleading was created to give athletes an outlet to learn, perform and compete on an elite level and the Dance Program of Jaguar Athletics will be no different.

Class Description

The classes that will be taught will be Hip Hop with beginner jazz. Hip Hop focuses on high-energy street movements as seen in many music videos.  It emphasizes body movement and rhythm. Students will learn basic turns, leaps, jumps and positions while improving their flexibility and extensions. Each class will consist of exercises and routines designed to enhance awareness of the beat as well as helping students grow more comfortable performing in front of others. These classes will be a great introduction to the world of dance for students who are just starting out or students with previous dance experience. No prior dance experience is required for these classes.
